Bills passion for his work shines through, and his attention to detail is unparalleled. The service was seamless, and the end product was fantastic. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
Local Google Ads for mechanics
Be The Workshop They Find First.
When a warning light comes on, nobody researches for a week. They search, they look at the first few options and they ring one. If you are not in that handful, the quality of your work never gets a say in it — and the job goes to whoever showed up.
Targeting set to the suburbs you can service profitably. No lock in contract.

Being good is not the same as being found
Most workshops struggling for new customers are not doing poor work. They are invisible at the exact moment somebody needs them.
The search happens once
A driver with a noise in the front end searches, rings two workshops and books. That decision is made in minutes. There is no second round for the workshop that was not on the screen.
Word of mouth has a ceiling
Referrals are the best customers you get and you cannot turn them up. When the diary looks thin on a Monday, there is no lever to pull.
The radius decides the budget
People drive a long way on a recommendation and almost no distance for a logbook service. Paying to appear forty minutes out is spending on drivers who were never coming.
Local means two things, and both matter
The right suburbs, and the right jobs inside them. Get one wrong and the budget leaks.
The suburbs you can actually service
- Targeting built around your real driving radius, not a default circle
- Suburbs that consistently cost more than they return get excluded
- Areas across a bridge, a river or a bad run of traffic treated separately
- Reporting by suburb, so you can see which ones are paying their way
- Adjusted over time as the data shows where your customers really come from
The jobs you actually want
- Campaigns built around profitable work — diagnostics, brakes, suspension, air conditioning, clutch and transmission
- Logbook servicing, pink slips, tyres and alignments where they suit your workshop
- Fleet and business accounts targeted separately where there is demand
- Services you do not want quietly excluded rather than advertised by accident
- Negative keyword lists that stop price shoppers, DIY searches and job seekers costing you money
Being busy and being profitable are not the same thing. A campaign that fills the diary with the cheapest work in the price list has not helped you.
Turning random weeks into something you can plan around
The problem is usually not the total amount of work. It is that it arrives in lumps.
Two flat out weeks, then a quiet one nobody predicted, then a scramble to fill the diary. You cannot roster properly against that, you cannot plan cash flow against it, and it is exhausting.
Search advertising will not make demand perfectly even. What it does is give you a source of enquiries you control: turn it up when the diary looks thin, wind it back when you are full, and know roughly what a week of it costs.
Over a few months you learn what the campaign reliably produces, which is the point where it stops being an experiment and starts being a planning tool.
What you will be able to see
Tracking goes on before the first click, so none of this is guesswork:
- How many genuine enquiries the campaign produced
- What each one cost you
- Which suburbs they came from
- Which services people are actually searching for
- Which enquiries were calls and which were forms
- Which were spam or duplicates, excluded from the count
In this industry most enquiries are phone calls. A campaign measured on form fills alone is measuring a fraction of what happened.
Starting without the usual risk
- No HypeDrive setup or management fees payable upfront
- Between 20 and 30 hours of build and optimisation in that time
- Campaign, tracking and targeting built around your suburbs and services
- Nothing to pay us at all if you choose not to continue
- No lock in contract, cancel any time afterwards
- Eligible new advertisers may receive up to $1,800 in Google Ads credit
Fees are deferred, not waived, and become payable if you continue. Advertising spend is paid directly to Google from your own card. Google credit eligibility and terms are controlled by Google.
How it works
Free 30 minute call
We map the suburbs worth advertising in, the ones that only cost money, and the services worth putting a budget behind.
Build and track
Campaign built around those services, negatives in place, call and form tracking live before the first click.
Cut what does not pay
Search term reviews and bid adjustments every month, so wasted spend gets removed and the cost per enquiry comes down.
You decide at the end
Two months in you have real numbers by suburb and service. Continue, or walk away owing us nothing.
Questions worth asking
Can you target all the suburbs around my workshop?
We can, but we usually should not straight away. Starting with the suburbs closest to you and expanding once the data supports it normally produces a better cost per enquiry than casting wide from day one.
How big should my radius be?
Smaller than most people set it. People will drive across town on a strong recommendation and almost nowhere for a routine service. We start tight and widen based on where enquiries actually come from.
Can you exclude particular areas?
Yes. If a suburb consistently produces enquiries that never turn into jobs, or sits the wrong side of traffic, it gets excluded.
My area already has a lot of workshops. Does that kill it?
Not usually, but it changes the approach. In busy areas a narrow focus on a few services normally beats bidding on general mechanical work against everyone.
Can I advertise only selected services?
Yes, and it is usually the right call. A modest budget behind three profitable services beats the same budget spread thinly across everything you offer.
Can you exclude services I do not want?
Yes. Anything you have stopped doing, or never want to see again, gets excluded through negative keywords.
What counts as an enquiry?
A tracked phone call over a set length, a completed form or a message enquiry. Spam, duplicates and wrong numbers are identified and excluded.
Do you track phone calls?
Yes, and in this industry it matters more than form tracking. Most drivers ring rather than fill in a form.
Do you remove spam and duplicate enquiries?
Yes. They are identified and excluded from the reported numbers, so what you judge the campaign on is genuine enquiries.
Do I pay HypeDrive during the first two months?
No. The setup fee and first two months of management are deferred and become payable only if you continue. If you do not, there is nothing to pay.
Do I pay Google separately?
Yes. Advertising spend goes directly to Google from your own card, in your own account, separate from our fees. You control the daily budget.
How much should I spend a day?
Many workshops start near $30 a day, then adjust. It depends on your suburbs, competition, services and capacity. Too low and the campaign gathers data too slowly to improve.
Can I still do this if my website is dated?
Often yes, but we will tell you if the site is the thing holding it back. Sending paid clicks to a page that does not convert is the fastest way to waste a budget. Where a landing page is the fix, we will say whether it is included or quoted separately.
Do you work with other workshops in my area?
Ask on the call. We will tell you straight whether we are already working with a competitor nearby.
How often will I get reports?
Regular reporting on enquiries, cost per enquiry and which suburbs and services are performing. You also have access to the account itself and can see the search terms any time.
See what is possible in your suburb
Tell us where you are and the work you want more of. We will look at what drivers near you are searching for and give you a straight read on whether it is worth advertising there.
