Google Ads credit for new advertisers
Up To $1,800 In Google Ads Credit. If You Qualify.
Google offers eligible new advertisers a credit against their advertising once they have met a qualifying spend. Most workshops either never hear about it, or burn it on a badly built campaign before it teaches them anything. It is worth setting up properly, because it is a one time thing.
Eligibility and terms are set by Google. We will tell you honestly if you do not qualify.

What the credit is, and what it is not
Worth reading properly, because "up to $1,800" gets thrown around loosely and it is not free money.
It is credit against future advertising
The credit is applied to what you spend with Google going forward. It is not cash, it is not paid out, and it does not refund advertising you have already paid for.
You have to spend to earn it
Google normally requires a qualifying amount of advertising spend within a set period before the credit is applied. You are still investing your own money first.
Google decides, not us
Eligibility, the amount and the terms are entirely Google's. We can help you apply and we deal with Google account managers, but nobody can override their decision.
Previous advertisers usually miss out
It is aimed at new accounts. If you have advertised before you probably will not qualify, and we would rather tell you that on the call than let you find out later.
Getting the credit is the easy part
Not wasting it is where workshops come unstuck. You only get one go at this.
It disappears on the wrong searches
An account left on broad settings will happily spend the lot on people looking for parts prices, DIY guides, apprenticeships or a workshop in another state.
No tracking means no lesson
If calls are not tracked, the credit gets used up and you still cannot say which service or which suburb was worth advertising. The money is gone and you learned nothing.
A weak page wastes good clicks
Sending the right driver to a page that does not make it obvious how to book means paying for the click and losing the job anyway.
Both things at once
The credit stretches your advertising. The deferred fees mean our side costs you nothing until you have seen what it produced.
- We help eligible new advertisers apply for up to $1,800 in Google Ads credit
- Account and campaign built around your profitable services
- Negative keyword list from day one so the credit is not wasted
- Call and enquiry tracking before the first click
- No HypeDrive fees payable upfront for the first two months
- Nothing to pay us at all if you decide not to continue

Google promotional credit eligibility, amount and terms are controlled by Google. Advertising spend is paid directly to Google from your own card. Our fees are confirmed in writing before anything starts.
How it works
Free 30 minute call
We check your situation against Google's current terms and tell you either way. If you are clearly not eligible we will say so rather than waste your time.
Account built to use it well
Campaign structured around the jobs you want, tight keywords, negatives in place, targeting set to the suburbs you can actually service.
Tracking before spend
Calls and forms tracked from the first click, so whatever the credit buys, you learn something from it.
You decide at the end
Two months in, you have seen the enquiries and the quality. Continue, or walk away owing us nothing.
Questions worth asking
Who qualifies for the $1,800 credit?
Generally new Google Ads advertisers who meet Google's eligibility conditions and its qualifying spend requirement within the stated period. Google sets and reviews all of it.
Is the credit guaranteed?
No. We can help you apply and we have Google account manager contacts, but the decision is Google's alone. Treat anyone who guarantees it with suspicion.
Is it cash?
No. It is credit applied against your future advertising costs with Google. It is never paid out to you.
Does it refund what I have already spent?
No. It applies going forward, not backwards.
When is the credit applied?
After you have met Google's qualifying spend within its stated period. Until then it is not on the account.
What if I already have a Google Ads account?
You most likely will not be eligible, since it is aimed at new advertisers. We will check and tell you straight. The deferred fee arrangement still stands on its own.
Do I still have to spend my own money?
Yes. Advertising spend goes to Google directly from your card, and you need to reach the qualifying amount before the credit applies.
How much should I budget per day?
Many workshops start near $30 a day, adjusted for suburb, competition, services and how much work you can take. We agree it with you before launch.
What do I pay HypeDrive while this is running?
Nothing upfront. Our setup fee and first two months of management are deferred and only become payable if you continue afterwards. If you do not continue, there is nothing to pay.
Can the deferred period be extended?
Sometimes, where an account genuinely needs longer to gather enough data. We may extend it to three or four months, agreed with you in writing.
Who owns the account and the credit?
You do. The account is created in your name on your card, and anything Google applies to it stays with you.
Can you stop the credit being wasted?
We cannot promise a cost per enquiry, but a tight keyword set, a strong negative list, honest geographic targeting and conversion tracking are the difference between credit that teaches you something and credit that quietly disappears.
What counts as an enquiry?
A tracked phone call over a set length, a completed form or a message enquiry. Spam, duplicates and wrong numbers are identified and excluded.
Do you work with other workshops near me?
Ask on the call. We will be straight with you about whether we are already working with a competitor in your area.
Find out whether you qualify
We will check your situation against Google's current terms and tell you either way, then walk you through what a properly built campaign would look like for your workshop.
